So far, Hilton Central School District, East Irondequoit Central School District, Webster Central School District and Spencerport Central School District are all taking part. Any subsequent violations within an 18-month period are subject to a $25 increase, up to a maximum fine of $300. Bus Patrol will equip buses in participating districts with cameras that capture the license plates of vehicles that pass buses, along with video of the infraction.įirst-time violators will face a civil fine of $250. The Monroe County School Bus Safety Program will see the county partner with Bus Patrol, a stop-arm enforcement technology provider.
